DORC announces the opening of CERIOS | Research and Innovation
Fueled by our shared commitment to restoring patients' vision, collaborative innovation with our surgeon partners has always been a fundamental cornerstone of our work. With our ever-expanding organization, and a growing need to foster innovation, the birth of a dedicated collaboration space became a necessity.

This week, this vision became a reality with the opening of CERIOS, our Center of Expertise, Research and Innovation in Ophthalmic Surgery.

CERIOS is more than just a physical space; it's a hub of creativity and progress, strategically designed to facilitate groundbreaking advancements in ophthalmic surgery. Here, we cultivate a dynamic environment for exchanging ideas, brainstorming, developing new concepts, and meticulously evaluating them. It's a place where innovation thrives!

CERIOS is located on the campus of the prestigious Technical University Delft in the Netherlands. This campus is an incubator for innovation, positioning us well to attract the brightest talents in the field.

CERIOS is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a fully equipped wet and dry lab, with of course our latest innovation in phacovitrectomy: EVA NEXUS. With a dedicated usability space for formative and summative studies, observational testing, and prototype evaluation, CERIOS is where ideas are transformed into reality, and dreams into innovations that will help patients see again.

EVA NEXUS™ has the CE mark and is now available for demonstration in selected countries. It is currently under FDA review for availability in the USA.
